@Stacey – If you’re used to Facebook, Twitter is basically the ‘Status’ feature on Facebook. People share what they’re doing as well as share links to interesting stories, articles, photos, videos and other content on the Web.

As you say, it’s great for connecting with people.

There is no better place to learn about Twitter than on Twitip. Lots of great advice from great writers.

I hope you find success with your blogging and with Twitter.

Remember to use your family as inspiration. People are drawn to honesty. =)

I enjoy blogging, and there have been fellow bloggers that have started to use Twitter-
– So, is Twitter just a faster and more global connection like Facebook?
I have only been on Facebook for a while– but I use it manly to keep in touch with family.
And …yup I am still on dial up — with two kids and a husband and a blog that keep me —in word “busy”!

Finding a niche and focusing on it can be a good way to build a strong and loyal following. Even if you don’t believe your niche is ready for twitter and blogging – you may be surprised. Use it as an opportunity to MAKE THEM ready for twitter – be a trailblazer and start a blog and twitter account devoted to the niche!

Thanks Smart Boy – I’ve always admired people who come across a new technology such as Twitter and work to become pioneers in their area of expertise. It’s a great way to show yourself as a leader in your industry.
