It's a good idea, so I'll be interested to see if Twitter come up with a killer new unique feature around this. I'm still looking out for a micro forum platform, where you can create your own tweet-like social network/communication system. Kind of like a cross between twitter and ning or something like that. For now, this works pretty well.
