I used to think twitter was just a nuisance and an addition to the excess noise on the Internet drowning out other useful resources.

Articles like yours have made me re-evaluate my viewpoint to the extent that I'm just about to sign up for a twitter account.

I can see it is useful if used in the right way. I will spend time defining my objectives.

Good advice even for those who just want to shout out loud for the sake of expression. No matter what your reason(s) to tweet, it never hurts to examine your why's.

This article was very helpful. It helped me to define why I use twitter. Thank you very much. My goals were 1-to drive traffic to my blogs, 2-to connect with new friends, 3-to track how I spend my time and 4-to get helpful links from other twitter users

Twitter helps me connect to the world as I work (solitary) from my home office. Indeed, it brings much needed social interaction and stimulation!

Great article and comments!

I'm looking to meet others in the fields of money management, debt reduction, tax preparation and EFT. I'm also interested in posts about marketing and business building.

Have met a lot of great people I wouldn't have met any other way. Had several conversations in the last week with them. Twitter is great for networking and connecting.

I've seen people trying to reaching their 2,000 follower (and other numbers) and wonder if they can really keep in touch with that many people.

Always interesting conversations!

Thanks for asking.
