We usually don't think about anything happening to our accounts like Twitter until the day it does happen. Then what? Yikes! A TwitterGlitch manual is an awesome idea and very good insurance if a twitter disaster happens. Thanks for telling us about this.

@BasicCompInfo That's a great idea. I hadn't thought of that one before. I "monitor" my brands, but following your own RSS is so simple. Thanks for the tip. I'll add that to the TwitterGlitch addendum.

"The smartest thing you can do to protect your Twitter account is to click on “Profile” everyday and make sure all the tweets on your front page were left by you."

You can follow yourself in your RSS feed reader to monitor your tweets too.

What a great tool for people to have! I personally have witnessed a few clients lose accounts and profiles - some for days, weeks and one has never been reinstated - all with little or no explanation. This will certainly help people figure out what to do - other than looking online for solutions and seeing just how many others it has happened to as well.

Sounds like a great idea. I never thought about needing to protect my twitter profile, but this makes sense
