Am not much of a fan of twitter client websites, mostly because I don't care that much to try it.

I rather log onto twitter.com and tweet stuff or just view my followers list or follow people.

I tried out TweetDeck about once or twice, but never really used it to it's full potential.

I mostly use Tweetdeck (work and home) but have also used HootSuite on occasions my husband also has info he wants to tweet. Like Yvonne, I generally log into twitter to manage my followers or do a search.

At home I use Tweetie for Mac. But I'm also waiting for Nambu to get out of beta.
At work I keep an eye on my work account and tweet using TwitterFox (a Firefox add-on)
On my iPod touch I use Twitterfon or Twitterrific (the latter because I can switch been personal and work accounts very easily).
I occasionally log on to twitter.com, but not to send tweets, mainly to manage follower lists and so on.

I got started using Twitter.com on my desktop and soon after started using it on my Win Mobile 6.1 device (AT&T Tilt). It works and I haven't felt a need to change. Maybe someday I'll chance a venture on one of the popular twapps and see if it makes a difference.

The only time I use the web based twitter, is when I am on a mobile phone and the gprs services is too bad. For that I use m.twitter.com. In general m.*.* sites are very light.
