I can not recall 100% if I use twitter more or less on a weekend, because I use it almost everyday.

But, according to my memory, I'll have to say I use it more often on a weekend.

Mostly because it is very addicting, ;)

I use twitter a lot less on the weekend. I try not to use the computer on the weekend. I use it all day long and that is enough.

I have a horrible habit of completely dropping out of Twitterverse on the weekend, even though I'm a mobile addict. Perhaps I'm trying to shun all technology, but since I actually enjoy posting and interacting on Twitter, I'm not sure what the avoidance is all about. Definitely working on this!!

Twitter is too addictive, but, like air, it is what I breathe since I work online all the time and am self employed/work from my home office when I'm not travelling for a client which is usually about once a month or so.

I have to actively kick off of twitter or else it WILL interfere with my work day. I also am, lately, working to leave it ALONE some part of every weekend so I can collect my thought, process all that I've heard in the stream, and just be mentally quiet, but it's a struggle.

There's tway more coming at me than I can handle at the moment. Just keeping up with all of the different ways to use twitter can be a full time job. Not to mention using lots of words that begin with t in regular conversations!

For instance, snow takes for snow flakes. Why is "t" such a sticky leTTer?

It's fun to see that other people commenting are having some of the same issues but, seriously, this tool allows me to feel connected to others from all over the world no matter what time of day or night it is and, as a human, we are connective creatures and cannot, for the most part, live in a human vacuum as many of us do a large part of each day now.

First, we went to hang out at Starbucks but couldn't really start up a lot of conversations without seeming odd or too lonely. Now, we can go sit there and have a LOT of conversations and feel surrrounded by like minded people.

The trick is to take twitter offline and start more and more twitups. That's what will happen, I think, and Starbucks should be joining that conversation and hosting them actively...or else there is an opportunity here for another mega chain with tons of locations to steal market share.

I am self-employed and work from home, but I try to take at least one day per week when I don't even turn on my computer, and that day is usually Saturday or Sunday. When the computer (and work) is always there, beckoning to me, I have to make a concerted effort to give myself some down time -- to rest and create balance in my week. People will survive without reading my tweets for a couple of days!

I believe I Tweet the same during the week as well as the weekend.

Working at home and having a computer around all the time is a great temptation to go on and see what's happening.

I wish it were different as I find my life is too tied to the computer.

Good question: I THINK I tweet less on weekends. The reason might be I'm not online as much as usually because I don't work as much as during the week. Though being self-employed means I'm never completly offline.

Funny enough, I tweet most on Saturdays, and early in the morning - when I wake up and respond to all the tweets I missed. Since I am a student I tend to tweet less on days I have class - Mon morn, Tues, Thurs, Fri!

But here is a side Q for u - If someone unfollows you, are you insulted? B.c I personally don't mind, but I wonder if others do
