EventVue chatter, a recently developed tool for watching events in real time, is the easiest and fastest way to interact with an event. From big time conferences like South by Southwest to the simplest daily trending topics, EventVue Chatter is the best way to follow the online conversation.
With Chatter, simply enter any hashtag and a live stream will be created. Much like Twitter search, Chatter displays the recent tweets for an event (hashtag). But where Chatter shines is in the available functionality. Unlike Twitter search, Tweets will instantly flow into the stream never forcing you to refresh the page.
Along with the ease of never having to refresh the page, Chatter utilizes Twitter oAuth to log a user in, allowing you to tweet and comment directly into the event stream. As you tweet, or comment, your conversation will instantly flow back up stream for all viewers to see. This gives you a much easier and cleaner way to interact with others talking about the same event as you.
A few key factors make EventVue chatter really great.
Speed – It’s way faster than Twitter search, TweetDeck or just about any other twitter client that I’ve tried. EventVue uses the streaming API which is often faster than twitter.com itself. The app automatically shows new updates as they come in which makes for a faster experience than Twitter search which just notifies when new items come in instead of actually showing them.
Inline commenting – There are comments! Yes, you can actually have threaded conversations FriendFeed style in EventVue.
Be loud without disrupting your followers – Being able to interact with an event is great, but annoying your followers isn’t. You can be a part of an event while never actually tweeting about it. If you decide to comment on a tweet but not “at” reply the original author, Chatter will notify that user for you.
So, you want to track an event or any hashtag that you wish? Give EventVue’s Chatter a run for it’s money. Have other great tools for tracking events on Twitter? I would love to hear about them in the comments.

@WelcomeCards
Sounds useful, however I wish there was a tool that didn’t require signup/login. Seems like every new Twitter tool makes you create an account – HootSuite, SocialOomp, etc.
@Arijitblog
