LOL. Twitter is growing FAST. It seems like I hear a twitter plug every single day on ESPN Sportscenter. Facebook really lost its glamour with all the applications, extra BS, and confusing layout. The only extra buzz Facebook has is the ability to view photo albums, and with Twitpic, that's now taken care off.

Twitter proves that less is more, and it doesn't take a whole page of crap to connect with real people on a real lover. Bravo Twitter!

I think the meta plus everybody TALKING about the META TAGS had something to do with the rise in traffic and now that everything has settled everything will settle back down a little above normal traffic.

In the site revamp it seems Alexa have changed the way their site penalties work - Problogger.net for instance had a massive boost again, as did andybeard.eu and other people in the heavy Alexa toolbar user category

It's a little bit of SEO and a little bit of word of mouth. Combined they're making the twitter traffic bounce through the roof. Plus this title tweak potentially hurts them with users like me who tweet under their real name.
