I tweeted 160 times in November. I like this poll, though I wish you used fewer tweets per vote. The span of 100 tweets is a lot!
I am actually surprised as to how little I tweeted. I have really been interested in Twitter for a while, but only tweeting 160 times (and that was my third highest month with May @ 219 tweets being my highest) seems low. This might be why it is hard for me to break that 300 follower ceiling I am leaning against.

Twitteriffic was my program of choice, I sent a ton of messages to @karllong, I tweet the most at 9 am (start of work for me), and Monday is my tweet day of choice (reply to all of the weekend tweets I guess!).
The one thing I wish TweetStats showed: How many tweets start with an @ or RT. I’d love to hear everyone’s ratio of replies to original tweets. For myself, I try to make at least 1/2 of my tweets original thoughts and not get caught up doing too many replies, but it would be interesting to see how close to that goal I get.

I posted 1,857 updates in November, down from 2,227 in October, slightly less than 1,862 in September but still higher than 1,738 in August. Apparently my daily average is 30 tpd, that’s tweets per day.
I joined back in August 07 and Tweetstats showed stats that far back instead of going back just 12 months. The past four months have been very high. Previous >1,000 highs were 1,150 in July ‘08 and 1,286 in May ‘08.
@replies: 51.68%. I try to keep them under 50%.

Darren – it would be interesting to poll your readers on how many of their Tweets over the course of a week (or day?) are business-related, and how many are personal. I doubt there’s a stats program that tracks that…but I’m sure there will be one soon.

473 seemed shockingly high, until I divided it by 30 days in November, and 15.7 averages to about one per waking hour. That’s not so bad.
Then I realized that the 473 probably does NOT count direct messages, which probably ups my average to 20 or so tweets per day, significantly more.
I just hope my followers feel like they’re getting camaraderie from whatever posts that don’t offer concrete information/advice.
