It is based on credits, follow someone, check their site or like them on facebook and you receive credits (users decide amount of credits they want to give out). That's a really big thing to achieve, expecially if you're not already well known. Luckily this site probably already has a lot of visitors which means that they can drive their visitors to their Twitter page...
