I think, weirdly enough, that got a few thinking about how they would use Twitter and what to expect, and so they got on and enjoyed it - I can definitely tell that they were able to build and engage decent followings quickly. The key is to be yourself and connect with like minded people to benefit from twitter. We have a few clients who don't have a blog however they choose to use twitter as a micro blog. I can see that they just don't get it. Others take to and see the benefit right away. I have to admit it took awhile and some studying for me to finally REALLY get it, but now.......I love it. In a lot of cases people heard of "tweets about what a guy had for lunch". My argument is "yes, there are such guys, but more and more guys tell you what project they thought about when they had lunch". This little shift makes Twitter really useful. That's what is still missing in the Twitter marketing. They started with the wrong target. But, a lot of users have chosen another one.
