Some people don’t even know how much time they spend every day doing things like checking email, much less how much time they spend on Twitter each day. For productivity’s sake: How much time do you think you spend every day on Twitter?

Less than 30 minutes a day! I try to be more interesting than posting all day useless stuff.
@EzyBlogger
I think I’m spending too much time on twitter. Need to slow down a bit and stop reading reading twitter related blogs…lol
Back to tweeting!
@andymci
It’s hard to say. I always have TweetDeck open while I’m working, quietly blipping away on the side of my screen while I work on other tasks… anyone else do the same?
@dbferguson
I find that I check the site about once or twice an hour on my iPhone during the day, and then participate more in the evenings for about 30 minutes to an hour each day. I try to keep up with everyone, but I’m following over 300 people.
I’m one of those users who feels guilty if I don’t keep up with all of my follows at all times. I need to find something that allows me to stay caught up on specific users, like TweetDeck, but for iPhone.
@misscedar
I am all about the 5 minute bursts! I also leave Thirl open when I am doing other things. So sometimes the only time I check it is when I hear the sound letting me know I got an @message or DM.
I check in once a day to see what ProBlogger has posted.
@32100
I always have TweetDeck open on a second monitor and take a peek every once in a while, usually when I’m between activities (e.g. I just finished reading an article) so it’s hard to say how much time I spend on it.
@J_Lillie
I run Adium 1.4b3 for all my IM needs and the new beta has twitter built in. So, I am on all day…
I am spending way too much time on this, but its better than watching TV.
@CoBPEZ
I have to admit I’m a Twitter addict. Twitterific on the iPhone is my tool. Just perfect for checking my timeline and twitter trends and twitter searches while commuting.
@Bill_Masson
Off and on about 4 to 6 hours through tweetdeck hootsuite tweetlater and loads more around the web. Organising your followers is something you need to do unless you want a mess…..
@radiogagger
It seems i’m normal. 1-2 hours a day average, only occasional days where i don’t post at all.
I use my phone with web access when in the United Kingdom, but am occasionally abroad for weeks at a time.
I don’t use any applications at the moment because of laptop issues, maybe if i start using tweetdeck or other my twittering will change…

I’m in a problems i simple cant stop use twitter, I dream on it, and sleep thinking on it, and all the link that comes whit it. Love it.
@ackadia
Not unusual lately for me to be active on Twitter for over 12 hours a day between my real Twitter (ackadia) and play account (milliontwits). That said, besides a collection of nutty friends I’m following scores of trade, industry and news accounts from the likes of yourself, Mashable, TechCrush etc, flitting in and out all day as I follow links.
@bradhart
It is really hard to gauge how much time I actually spend on twitter. Like many others I have tweetdeck open all the time and on a second monitor, which I as often as not have turned off. I make my living in front of the computer so you could say on one hand I am on all the time, but that doesn’t mean I am constantly tweeting or even reading my stream for most of it.
@TimothyCarter
Most days I’m tweeting away from 2-4 hours a day. A lot of DM’s and will post a quote or three along with whatever I’ve been reading that day that I found valuable.
@RalphJP
I don’t spend more than an hour a week on Twitter. I guess thats why I only have 60 followers huh?
