ProBlogger.Com Launched!

Okay, so I know this isn’t really a Twitter-related post, but it’s got to do with blogging, and that’s just as close as can be.

Darren and I launched ProBlogger.com last week, and have since found ourselves with over 1300 new members. We’re quite pleased with the number of course, but even better than that is the quality of people who are really spending time in there. For as little as $1.95/month, you can become one of them!

People are helping each other, promoting each other, critiquing and supporting each other. It’s fantastic, and I can’t wait to watch this community grow. I’m proud to be the Community Manager for the new project, and I’d love to see you join up and take part in the magic we’re building!

Here are some detailed posts and links to help you decide if this community’s right for you:

If you’ve joined already, thank you – Please let everyone know what you think so far in the comments!

    Wow! What a great initiative!

I will have to sign-up and see if there are ways to work with other bloggers in my niche!

I also like the concept of a small fee for a community site because that way you can pay for a quality moderator.

I am really excited about this. I am having Paypal troubles at the moment, but once I stop getting “your request cannot be completed” errors, I plan on getting the 31 days workbook while it’s discounted. I think that’s the type of program I can actually run with rather than generic “follow these generic steps to be better” advice.

Maybe I’ll finally have someone be able to tell me what I can do to clean up my layout and Blogger template (curse me for not going Wordpress to begin with!)

Wow this is an interesting concept, and a fascinating approach. There are some aspects of this that I’m still a bit hazy about, as in, think something makes sense, but not quite sure am reserving being judgmental, but do think it’s cool you are having success. Success is like a magnet, that much for sure is believable. Best to you. drd4u.

That’s nice to hear. But it being a paid forum, many would take a step back– I am one among them.

I was wondering what that overlap was in this new community and the 31 Days to Building a Better Blog Community. I mean, I have just started participating in this forum. I know that there are some that are not participating int the 31 Days BB Forum and thus should join and participate in this new community. But for those that are in the 31 Days to BB forum, is there a practice reason why we should be participating in both forum?

I’m a recent member of the forum. I’m a fairly early stage blogger, but since joining the forum my traffic went from 50 to 173 visitors in a day and has consistently been over a 100 everyday since I joined the forum. I’ve also collaborated with other bloggers to get guest posts and more. For a 1.95 a month, it’s a no brainer. Anybody who blogs should join.
