sorry for the confusion! This post was a follow up to my post here titled “Welcome To The Hive Mind; Learn How to Search Twitter.” The hive mind is a science fiction idea applied to Twitter. Basically you have access to the “thoughts” of everyone on Twitter and can function like one mind…it’s just supposed to be funny…sorry it threw some people off =]

To loose the hive would indeed be tragic. I fear me may lose even more though. With the rapid adoption of Twitter by celebrities it is quickly becoming a mainstream communications tool for all to use, and abuse. As the fans of Ashton, Oprah, Miley & Brittany jump on board I fear that Twitter will go the way of MySpace and die a slow, painful death as it is “bedazzled” by all the teens & tweens and their love of blinking, scrolling, twirling, glittery text and bootleg music & video.

Could we all live together and get along on Twitter – well, maybe. But isn’t that what we asked about MySpace too?
