Over the past few months I’ve presented at a number of conferences and to companies on how to use Twitter. On each occasion I’ve been asked for the slides and by others not at the presentations if there were videos of the presentations. Today I sat down to record some audio over one of the slide sets that I use.
While the presentation is titled ‘Twitter Tips for Business’ much of it would be relevant for anyone using Twitter whether they be doing so as a business or as an individual. The video goes for 40 minutes – so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy.

Great video, Darren. I found your tip about using the Twitter link as a Twitter explanation page really interesting. Also, I knew you were in Australia, but I never put the time difference together. Very interesting. I’m in the US, but will spend a little more time thinking about best times to share messages. Last thing – do you have any recommendations for the graphically challenged to “dress nicely?” I’d like to create a custom background, but don’t have Photoshop or know much about laying out an image like that.

Absolutely love the Tip about setting up a Twitter Page on your website. Of course if Tweeps are visiting your site for the first time and are also not on Twitter, seeing a link to Twitter isn’t going to mean much to them .But a specific page.. well that could be incredibly beneficial.
How about a specific post to web site owners on this topic and then survey the results in a month? Great idea that must mean both more traffic and more followers
