I have several also, one for each of my domains and websites, each covering different topics or areas of my business. I use twitter for work and play and for my clients. Is there an API that allows tweeting to more than one account at the same time, this I find frustrating logging into all of them separatly because sometimes a tweet is suitable for all of them.

I do have more than 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and even 10
Why?
1 is personal but has most followers as that was the first
1 is official for my author career
2 are for road safety tips
1 is a restaurant idea
1 is a board game idea
1 is a form of humour that requires acronyms
4 are for writing psuedonyms 1 of which is now published 3 will be eventually

Does this make me the record holder? I have a feeling it doesn't.

Good article. I have two twitter accounts. One twitter username is sfihomebizz for my blog sfihomebizz.info and second twitter username is ktshoppe which I am using for my blog vitalsupp.info.

ktshoppe was the first twitter account I opened where I used to post my health related articles and tweeted health tips. So I am using ktshoppe for my health blog vitalsupp.info as I feel maintaining and tweeting on multiple twitter accounts is a bit difficult.

Good summary. I would only add that there is another reason to have multiple corporate Twitter accounts: front-end and support, for example.
I put it into this short article "How to Build Twitter-worth": http://bit.ly/ipVts

Just my 2 cents.
Thanks,
-Stas

I have one account and would like two. However, Twitter won't let me set up another account (one for work, one for personal) on the same mobile number...is there a way around this?

Thanks

I'm in the group of people who tweets in 2 different languages. As of now, there's no way around this. Posting in 2 languages under the same account is just too much noise and can be very annoying for your audience. It's not very practical, but tools like Seesmic Desktop makes the task much easier.

Great article. One question - is there a workaround to the "one mobile device issue"? I added a second account for a club I manage, but twitter won't allow me to use the same mobile phone number as I use for my personal account...

Multiple accounts can be effective its when knowing how to execute it wisely and not overdo it can be worth it. I have a business and personal account, so I use them accordingly.
